The company bushtuckertakeaway ltd is 100% Australian owned and operated.
In 2005, Director Freddy King, test-launched the first of the company's products,  'the bushtucker takeaway challenge' onto an unsuspecting UK market.
This limited edition release of 'the bushtuckertakeaway challenge' 2005, was the first commercial release anywhere in the world of a bushtucker/bug-eating boardgame.

The UK toy industry had already predicted :
"A game that involves eating dried worms is set to be the next must have Christmas gifts for kids." -(Daily Telegraph UK). Bushtuckertakeaway ltd hopes to build on the success achieved in the UK, and intends to launch an even more exciting version of the game in Australia in April 2006. Plans are also in place to re- launch the game in the UK in November 2006, and the US in 2007.

Director Freddy King
was born and bred in Australia. It was while he was stuck in Kalgoorlie, doing a spot of gold mining and unable to leave because of, shall we say, a misunderstanding with the police...that he came up with this fantastic game.

Munching on kangaroo stew and witchetty grubs with the locals, he realised that most people were missing out on something truly fantastic..

Travelling the world working here and there as a jacakaroo, deep sea fisherman and entrepreneur, Freddy is just the man to bring the bush to the civilized world.
